Silence the Violence
This video package fulfilled an assignment for my Television Center News course at San Francisco State University (SFSU). I chose to focus on a march that protested the escalating violence concentrated in downtown San Francisco.
Silence the Violence was the name of the march chosen by the organizers. Attendees and participants included local residents, business owners, victims, members of the San Francisco Police Department and anti-violence non-profits.

I wanted to give voice to locals and victims who felt unheard, ignored and/or frustrated by the ongoing and soaring incidents of violence they witnessed or endured on a daily basis.

GDC 2022
This video package fulfilled an assignment for my Television Center News course at San Francisco State University (SFSU). I chose to cover the annual Game Developers Conference (GDC) which was the first full-scale conference to be held in-person at San Francisco's Moscone Center since the start of the pandemic.
GDC is an annual conference predominantly for game developers to network and parade their latest developments. During the pandemic, it was held virtually. After shelter-in-place was lifted, the full-scale conference was the first to occupy all three of the Moscone Center's buildings. It was also the first to draw visitors from across the nation and world.

Off The Grid
This video package fulfilled an assignment for my Television Center News course at San Francisco State University (SFSU). I chose to focus on this food and entertainment venue because it was a resumption of a gathering popular in pre-pandemic years.
Off The Grid (OTG) is a gathering of food trucks held throughout the Bay Area. One of their largest gatherings is held on Fridays at San Francisco's Fort Mason Center. The outdoor venue of small, minority-owned and operated businesses was a welcome presence for those who were feeling claustrophobic.
